Objectives: Create a personnel reserve. Improving the competitiveness of the labor market. Working hours of specific software solutions that can be brought to the industrial level and sold to the customer.
The project is implemented by a team of students in the territory of the Odessa National Polytechnic University (ONPU), Institute of Computer Systems (ICS). X - is the largest institution (faculty) of our specialty in Odessa, has five departments and produces up to 300 people a year.
- There are two teams of six people. One in the direction of navigation, the other in the direction of image recognition and augmented reality (in the automotive field).
- Each team consists of six students: three fourth-year student, and three third-year student. When an older student "grows" in and out of the project, its place is a "younger". This ensures continuity of participation in development.
- Each student will be placed on the project, on average 2 years, which allows you to save a good professional experience and make a real contribution to the development.
- Each team is supervised by one or more experts from Luxoft, which act as clients projects, supervise the implementation process, advise students on technical issues. For experts it is a kind of coaching in the area of software development.
Projects are managed by the methodology of Agile, Luxoft serves as a Project Owner. Must include a daily Scrum teams in the territory of ONPU and weekly sprints with curators from Luxoft at the company.
